    1. A grade report will be issued to each student at the conclusion of each course.
    2. Students who fail to earn a cumulative or term average of C (2.0) will be placed on academic probation and referred to the Program Coordinator. Depending on program structure, if the cumulative and/or term average fall below C during the next term of enrollment, students will be suspended and thus denied the opportunity to re-enroll. Written notification is sent to students who are placed on probation or suspension. A suspended student who desires to be readmitted to a program may do so upon the written recommendation of the Program Coordinator to the Dean.
    3. Veteran students' academic records will automatically be evaluated for prior credit. Credit will be granted if appropriate, with the training time and tuition adjusted proportionately and the VA and veteran so notified.
    4. Attendance is mandatory and will be reported to the Office of Veterans Affairs. Students will be suspended after three unexcused absences. All students must adhere to the Student Code of Conduct as set forth in the current Student Handbook.

Financial Assistance

Individuals enrolling in programs offered through the University of North Florida Division of Continuing Education (UNFDCE) may be eligible for financial assistance through one of the following.

  • AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps funding is accepted once the participant has submitted his/her request through the AmeriCorps portal, my.americorps.gov and provides UNFDCE a copy of the submission and approval. It can be used for a face-to-face or online class format. Contact Program Director, Jessica Murray, with questions.

  • CareerSource Northeast Florida

CareerSource Northeast Florida provides training scholarships to eligible participants. Visit https://careersourcenortheastflorida.com/training-for-job-seekers/.

  • Florida Prepaid College Program
If you have the Florida Prepaid tuition plan, the amount it will pay per credit hour will vary based on the type of plan purchased. Since the programs provided by UNFDCE are clock hours, they need to be converted to credit hours to determine the total amount to be paid by Florida Prepaid. To get started, go to the Florida Prepaid website, create a profile, and submit documentation to UNFDCE verifying your account. If your account is not in good standing or you need to complete a survey, Florida Prepaid will not pay. It can be used for a face-to-face or online class format. Visit www.myfloridaprepaid.com or contact the Program Director, Jessica Murray, with questions.
  • Information Session Discounts

For a few selected programs (Project Management, Logistics, and Certified Financial Planner), information sessions are held to provide individuals the opportunity to ask programmatic questions and meet the instructors. Discounts are available to these attendees.

Contact Program Director, Jessica Murray, with questions.

  • Private Loans

The University does not provide loans for continuing education programs. Loans are available, and may be secured independently by students from a number of private institutional lenders. Private lenders determine their interest rates, enrollment status requirements, repayment options, and any fees that may apply.
