Institutional Biosafety

According to the University of North Florida's Biosafety policy, "the University recognized the need for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors to work and meet in an environment free of undue risks to their health and well being." The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) has been established at the University of North Florida to ensure compliance with National Institutes of Health (NIH) guidelines and to ensure safe handling, use and storage of biohazardous organisms.
