Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs

The Department of Recreation and Wellness offers a variety of resources to support those wishing to kick the habit. In addition to numerous outreach activities each term, the department offers informational sessions. Sessions are offered at a variety of times in order to meet the diverse needs of students and staff. If you are interested in improving your health by kicking the habit, contact us at (904) 620-4769.

Interactive Self-Assessment Tools

  • eToke The electronic THC Online Knowledge Experience (e-TOKE) is an anonymous brief assessment and feedback tool designed to help students evaluate their marijuana use.
  • eChug The e-Chug (electronic Check-Up To Go) is an anonymous, interactive Web survey that allows college and university students to enter information about their drinking patterns and receive feedback about their use of alcohol.

Breath Fresh Initiative

In order to create a healthier campus environment for all of our students, faculty, staff and visitors, the University of North Florida has become a designated smoke-free campus. Becoming a designated smoke-free campus means that the act of smoking is prohibited on all University controlled properties. That includes recreational facilities, residential building and parking lots and garages. For more information, see UNF's full list of policies and regulations.
