SoCal Alumni Network
Calling all UNF alumni in LA, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Orange County, Palm Springs, Long Beach, and beyond. Ospreys are making waves in Southern California. The UNF SoCal Alumni Network is all about connection. Whether you’re looking to grow your career, meet fellow grads, or just have a good time with some great people, the SoCal Alumni Network is the group for you.
Chair: Cherie Michaud ‘11
Cherie Molina graduated from the University of North Florida in 2011. Cherie serves as the Senior Director of Alumni Relations at the USC Marshall School of Business and USC Leventhal School of Accounting, where she leads strategy, engagement, and volunteer leadership programs. She is also President of the Association of Business School Alumni Professionals (ABSAP). With over a decade in higher education, Cherie has held roles at UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University, and University of the Pacific, and began her career with HazingPrevention.Org. Cherie resides in Orange County with her husband, son, and cat.
Fun Fact: Cherie has lived in three Orange Counties—Florida, North Carolina, and California!

Tampa Bay Alumni Network
With over 1,000 alumni in the Tampa Bay area, the UNF Tampa Bay Alumni Network brings Ospreys together across the Tampa Bay region to connect, celebrate, and support one another. Join fellow alumni in Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, and surrounding as we strengthen our Osprey ties and make an impact together.
Chair: Jason Francey
Jason Francey is a Florida native who was born and currently resides in Manatee County. He holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Florida, earned in August 2022. Jason is currently employed with the School District of Manatee County, where he focuses on improving student attendance. From 2018 to 2024, he worked with the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering on Tampa Bay sports teams, and actively serving in his church and local community.

Affinity Alumni Networks

Alumni Book Club
Join fellow Ospreys in the UNF Alumni Book Club, a welcoming space to connect, share ideas, and explore great reads together. Expand your mind and your network as we dive into thought-provoking books and celebrate the joy of reading one chapter at a time.
Alumni Book Club meetings will be held virtually over Zoom from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Osprey Advisors Alumni Network
The Ospreys Advisors Alumni Network is a community of experienced legal and financial experts who serve as a resource for alumni and friends of UNF seeking guidance in areas such as tax, estate planning, financial advising, and charitable giving.
The network provides valuable opportunities for professional growth, including business development, peer connections, and continuing education—all while staying engaged with the university community.
Eligible members may include estate planning attorneys, real estate attorneys, certified financial planners (CFPs), certified public accountants (CPAs), trust officers, and life insurance advisors. Learn more.

Presidential Envoys Alumni Network
The Presidential Envoys Alumni Network is designed to strengthen the lifelong bond between current and former members of the Presidential Envoys program while deepening their connection to the University of North Florida. As alumni of this distinguished leadership organization, members are invited to stay involved through mentorship, professional development opportunities, and continued service to the university community. This network honors the values and legacy of the Envoys program by providing meaningful ways for alumni to give back, support current students, and participate in university events that reflect the spirit of leadership, service, and Osprey pride.

Public Health Alumni Network
Since launching in 2019, the UNF Public Health Alumni Network (PHAN) has built a vibrant and service-driven community. From networking mixers and career panels to hands-on service projects, PHAN’s alumni members stay actively engaged in advancing public health. In 2022 alone, they raised more than $8,000 to support student scholarships.
PHAN proudly welcomes all graduates of UNF’s undergraduate and graduate public health programs, as well as public health professionals across the region, to join in strengthening the field and uplifting future leaders.
PHAN's mission is to lead the way to better health and wellness through a collective community of public health professionals, UNF Public Health Alumni, and future alumni through networking, mentorship, and public service.
PHAN's vision is to foster a dynamic community of public health and prevention professionals who support each other.

Spinnaker Alumni Network
The Spinnaker Alumni Network comprises alumni who worked, interned, or volunteered at Spinnaker Media and its predecessors, including The Halyard, The Phoenix, Osprey Radio, and Osprey TV. Our purpose is to serve as a networking hub between past members and current members. The Spinnaker Alumni Network members will be able to provide support to Student Media and ultimately contribute to a constructive learning experience.

Black Alumni Association
The UNF Black Alumni Association (BAA) is a proud and independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections among Black alumni and promoting positive change within the community. As a partner to the UNF Alumni Association, the BAA creates opportunities for alumni to give back, celebrate shared experiences, and invest in the next generation of Ospreys.
