2026-27 Alumni Association Board Members

The UNF Alumni Association Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the Alumni Association, guiding its mission to foster lifelong connections between alumni and the university. Board members play an essential role in shaping alumni engagement by providing strategic direction, supporting university initiatives, and promoting meaningful programs and events that strengthen the Osprey network. In addition to serving as ambassadors of UNF in their communities and professional

fields, board members also work closely with university leadership to ensure alumni voices are represented in institutional decision-making. Their collective efforts help cultivate pride, involvement, and philanthropic support among graduates.

  • President: Dean Medley '91

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration, CCB

    Position:  Executive Vice President of HR & Operations at iMethods and Owner of Medley Employment Consulting, LLC.

    Dean Medley is the Executive Vice President of HR & Operations at iMethods, a Healthcare IT Staffing and Consulting company in Jacksonville, FL. As the company's first employee, Dean has been instrumental in the company's growth, overseeing operations, human resources, recruiting, and professional development. With over 25 years of business management and staffing industry experience, Dean is also the President and Owner of Medley Employment Consulting, LLC, and a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). His passion lies in helping job seekers and professionals develop their skills and find new career opportunities.

    Dean graduated from UNF in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration. Dean is a proud member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and is involved in their efforts to bring the chapter back to UNF. Dean has served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2017, including as Vice President and Chair of the Governance Committee.

    In his free time, Dean enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Caroline & Anna, and his chocolate Labrador retriever, Harper.

     

  • VP and Chair of Governance Committee: Bryce McColskey '17

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, CCB

    Position: Associate Attorney at Marks Gray, P.A.

    Bryce McColskey serves as an Associate Attorney at Marks Gray, P.A., where he focuses on medical malpractice, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and premises liability. He graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Business Management and later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During his time at UNF, Bryce was actively involved as a Student Government Senator, Swoop Squad member, Orientation Leader, and leader within Alpha Tau Omega.

    Bryce is a Jacksonville native and enjoys everything Florida offers, including golfing, surfing and playing soccer. Bryce remains engaged in the Jacksonville community as a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Board of Directors and the Chester Bedell Inn of Court, and he volunteers with The Church of Eleven22.

  • Secretary: Sitou Byll-Cataria '11

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Computer and Information Science, CCEC

    Position: CEO and Owner of Chic Booth

    Sitou Byll-Cataria serves as the CEO and Owner of Chic Booth, a global photographic experience company. Sitou graduated from UNF with a degree in computer and information science and a minor in Mathematics. During his time at UNF, he served as President of both the International Students Association and the Student Government. He also currently serves on the Student Affairs Community Council at UNF. He's also a proud husband and father of two, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact in both his professional and personal life.

  • Chief of Staff and Chair of Board Operations and Special Projects Committee: Ray Holley '97

    College and Degree: Master of Public Administration (MPA), BCH

    Position: Judge of Compensation Claims

    Judge William Ray Holley serves as a Judge of Compensation Claims in Jacksonville, a role he has held since 2010.  Prior to his appointment, he practiced as an attorney with the Law Office of Amy Warpinski and the Staff Legal Office for Liberty Mutual, specializing in Florida and Georgia Workers' Compensation law.

    Judge Holley earned his law degree cum laude from Stetson College of Law in 1997, completed a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of North Florida (Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society) in 1997, and received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Stetson University in 1991. During his graduate studies at UNF, he served as a graduate assistant with the Center for Local Government and completed an internship with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority. He has also served as President of the Rotary Club of Southpoint, President of the Northeast Florida District Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, and held multiple roles with The Florida Bar, including two elected terms on the Workers Compensation Executive Committee and membership on the Workers' Compensation Rules Advisory Committee (2009-2015). He has been on the Alumni Association Board for 6 years and previously chaired the Governance Committee.

  • Chair of ASE: Paola Lorenzo '18

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communication, COAS

    Position: Manager of Public Relations at Newfold Digital

    Paola Lorenzo serves as Manager of Public Relations at Newfold Digital, where she leads global media and public relations efforts across a portfolio of web and ecommerce brands. She is also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars Public Relations Game Day Staff. Paola graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus in public relations. During her time at UNF, she was actively involved as a Swoop Squad tour guide, chair of student government and student life, promotions coordinator for Osprey Productions, and a founding member of Alpha Phi, where she served as Vice President of Programming.

    As an alumna, Paola remains deeply engaged with UNF, serving as a classroom speaker, internship supervisor, alumni liaison for the School of Communication Advisory Board, and a member of the UNF Alumni Association Board. Paola is passionate about her work, her commitment to the communities we serve and the people we impact. Her goal is to help her alma mater grow and leave a positive impact upon its students and alumni for many years to come.

  • Chair of Athletics Committee: Alejandro Navarro '22, '24

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Health and Master of Science in Health, BCH

    Position: Senior Healthcare IT Recruiter at iMethods

    Alejandro Navarro serves as a Senior Healthcare IT Recruiter at iMethods, a healthcare IT staffing and consulting firm, where he focuses on building strong relationships and connecting consultants with meaningful opportunities. He graduated from UNF with his Bachelor of Science in Health in 2022 and his Master of Science in Health in 2024. A Jacksonville native, Alejandro remains active in the local community and enjoys playing soccer in an adult league, and he and his wife, Emily, a fellow UNF graduate, are recently married high school sweethearts.

  • Chair of Strategic Planning: Robert Raesemann, Jr. '92

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, CCEC

    Position: Technology Consultant and Owner of Raesemann Enterprises

    Rob Raesemann, Jr. serves as a technology consultant specializing in the integration of IT and operational technology systems and is a founding partner of Process Data Experts and owner of Raesemann Enterprises. He graduated from UNF with a degree in Electrical Engineering and credits the University’s student-focused environment with helping shape his career in advancing industrial technology. Rob is a longtime leader within the UNF Alumni Association, having served on the Board of Directors for over 20 years, including as past president, and was awarded the Johnson Medallion in 2022, earning lifetime ex-officio status.

  • Immediate Past President: Patrice Abner '08

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communications, COAS

    Position: Director of Girl Experience for the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council

    Patrice Abner serves as Director of Girl Experience for the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, where she leads initiatives that support and empower young women across the region. She graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and later earned her graduate degree from Nova Southeastern University. During her time at UNF, she was actively involved as a Student Government Association Senator, worked in the Career Center, and became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and she remains engaged in the community through mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida.

  • Chad Corcoran '17

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Political Sciences, COAS

    Position: Deputy Legislative Affairs Director for the Florida Department of Children and Families

    Chad Corcoran serves in legislative affairs for the State of Florida, most recently as Deputy Legislative Affairs Director for the Florida Department of Children and Families. He graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree in political science and later earned his master’s degree from Florida State University’s Applied American Politics and Policy program. During his time at UNF and early in his career, he interned with a private lobbying firm and went on to serve in the Florida Senate as a Senior Legislative Aide from 2019 to 2022.

  • Patrick Courson '06


    College and Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration in Transportation and Logisitics, CCB

    Patrick Courson serves as an operations leader at Atlantic Logistics, where he oversees teams supporting some of the company’s largest customers. He is a proud UNF alumnus, earning his bachelor’s degree while attending part-time after serving in the U.S. Army, where he became Airborne Ranger qualified and was commissioned through Officer Candidate School into Logistics. Throughout his career, he has held progressive leadership roles in transportation, including serving twice as President of high-revenue companies. He happily lives in St Augustine and is active in the community and volunteering, giving back to the North Florida region he loves so much.

  • Brittney Cunningham '21

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science, Marketing and Early Childhood Education, CCB

    Current Position: Senior Association Director of Annual Giving, Stetson University

    Brittney Cunningham serves as the Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving at Stetson University. Brittney graduated from UNF with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Early Childhood Education and was active in Alpha Delta Pi, the Honors in Marketing program, and Order of Omega.

    In her current role, Brittney focuses on acquiring leadership gifts from a variety of constituent audiences while increasing overall giving participation across the university and oversees the Forever Green Young Alumni Program. From her work with Stetston's student philanthropy organization, Green, White & YOU, Brittney was a recipient of a 2023 Circle of Excellence CASE Award in the Student Philanthropy division and a two-time Best of CASE District III recipient in 2023 and 2024.

  • Dan Davis '92, '97

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management and a Master of Business Administration, CCB

    Position: Senior Vice President at Bank of America

    Dan Davis serves as Senior Vice President at Bank of America, where he leads enterprise transformation, regulatory compliance, and strategic portfolio management initiatives, currently supporting Home Loans Servicing. Known for his collaborative leadership and strong communication, Dan has successfully delivered results across multiple lines of business.

    He graduated from UNF with dual bachelor’s degrees in Management and Marketing and an MBA. He also holds certifications including PMP and Lean Portfolio Management.

    Dan remains active in his community and enjoys performing improv comedy, hosting a neighborhood podcast, and spending time with his family. The Osprey blood runs strong in the Davis family. His wife, Beth, also earned her degree from UNF, daughter Brooke graduated with an English degree in 2022, son Brantley graduated with a history degree in 2026, daughter Brynn is studying political science, and son Bryce previously attended UNF before pursuing digital music production.

  • Zach Denson '14

    College and Degree: Master of Exercise Science and Chronic Disease

    Position: Strategic Account Manager at Fortinet, BCH

    Zach Denson serves as a Strategic Account Manager at Fortinet, a global leader in cybersecurity, where he helps clients navigate complex security solutions and achieve their goals. He graduated from UNF’s Brooks College of Health with a master’s degree in Exercise Science and Chronic Disease and remains a proud alumnus with a strong passion for service and supporting others.

    Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with his family and has been married for 12 years. He and his wife are raising their two sons and remain committed to building a life centered on growth, community, and impact.

  • Carleigh Eagle '21

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Physics, COAS

    Position: Lead Engineer for Mayo Clinic Florida’s Anatomic Modeling Unit

    Carleigh Eagle serves as an engineer at Mayo Clinic, where she specializes in additive manufacturing for patient-specific medical models and surgical guides. She graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, with her graduate studies directly supporting her work advancing reliable, patient-focused healthcare technologies. Her work spans the full additive manufacturing process, from design and build preparation to production and quality assurance, and she has overseen the development of more than a thousand parts for clinical and research use. 

    A proud UNF alumna, Carleigh credits the University with providing a strong foundation for her career and remains committed to applying her expertise to improve outcomes and innovation in the medical field.

  • Cameron Frazier '12

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science

    Position: Founder and Executive Director of Becoming Collegiate Academy

    Cameron Frazier serves as Founder and Executive Director of Becoming Collegiate Academy (BCA), a tuition-free public charter school in Jacksonville and the nation’s first HBCU-inspired elementary school. He graduated from UNF with a degree in Political Science and brings over a decade of experience in public education, including teaching, administration, and school founding. Cameron has successfully led BCA’s vision: writing the charter application, raising public and private funds, and building community partnerships to establish a successful school. BCA has been featured in national and local publications, such as Essence Magazine, Black Enterprise, and HBCU Buzz.

    A dedicated community leader, Cameron serves as a Trustee of the Jacksonville Public Library and on the Board of Directors for the JAX Chamber’s Hightower Emerging Leaders Fellowship. He is also an alumnus of the United Way Stein Fellowship program and remains passionate about expanding access to education and opportunity. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys reading, boxing, and exploring music.

  • David Hacker '08, '09

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Building Construction and a Master of Business Administration, CCB

    Current Position: Owner of Construction Specialties of North Florida

    David serves as the owner of Construction Specialties of North Florida, a company he founded while a student at UNF that has grown into a leading provider of exterior cladding and hardscapes for builders across the region. He graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction and earned his MBA shortly after, and has since led the company to serve more than 50 builders while earning multiple industry and community recognitions.

    A dedicated alumnus and community leader, David has remained actively engaged with UNF and the Jacksonville community through teaching as an adjunct professor, serving on advisory and industry boards, and supporting students through a named scholarship. He gives back through service on several local boards and remains a proud Osprey Club member and UNF Basketball season ticket holder.

    David’s greatest success is to be a husband to Corey Hacker, who is certainly out of his league, and a proud father of his son Rhett, and daughter Charley.

  • Brandon Jacobs '08

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communication, COAS

    Position:
    Founder of the UNF Black Alumni Association
     
    Brandon Jacobs serves as the founder of the UNF Black Alumni Association. He graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and later earned his MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Pheonix.
     
    A dynamic and community-focused leader, Brandon is also active as a music and entertainment professional, motivational speaker, and youth advocate. He is passionate about leveraging his skills in communication and logistics while continuing to pursue creative projects, including writing his debut novel.
  • Taj Johnson '20

    College and Degree:  Bachelor of Political Science, COAS

    Position: Sr. Manager of Strategic Iniatives for the Jacksonville Public Education Fund

    Taj serves as the Sr. Manager of Strategic Initatives at the Jacksonville Public Education Fund. Taj graduated from UNF with a degree in Political Science. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Edward Waters University and is currently attending Liberty University to obtain his PhD in Education. 

    Taj is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity INC. where he serves on the foundation board. In his spare time, he bartends at local restaurants, creates custom rugs, volunteers with youth, and works on political campaigns through his consulting company Tylan King Strategies.

  • Lisa Kemph '92, '96

    College and Degree: Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing and a Master’s in Human Resources Management, CCB

    Position: Chief Human Resources Officer for Brooks Rehabilitation

    Lisa Kemph serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Brooks Rehabilitation, where she leads human resources strategy and initiatives for more than 2,500 employees, including talent development, employee engagement, and organizational performance. She graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and holds both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, bringing nearly 30 years of experience across multiple industries.

    A dedicated leader and engaged alumna, Lisa serves on the HR.com Advisory Board and the Brooks College of Health Dean’s Council and is a certified Emotional Intelligence facilitator. She was recently recognized as one of the Top 100 HR Professionals in the world. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband Chris and their three children, Madisen, Mason and Mia.

  • Hayden Kestle '17

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, Silverfield COEHS

    Position: Senior Account Executive at EverTrue

    Hayden Kestle serves as an Operations Analyst at Petauri Health. He graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. During his time at UNF, he was actively involved in campus life as a member of Alpha Tau Omega, the OFSL Greek Ambassador Program, and The Osprey Social Hour.

  • Jen Lesshafft '10

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communications, COAS

    Position: Senior Account Executive at EverTrue

    Jen Lesshafft serves as a Senior Account Executive at EverTrue, where she helps nonprofits leverage data and insights to strengthen fundraising strategy and donor engagement. She graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree and later earned a master’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, along with a graduate certificate in nonprofit leadership from the University of Florida.

    Jen serves as Governance Chair of the Child Advocacy Center in Gainesville, sits on the UNF Alumni Association Board of Directors, and is a member of Leadership Gainesville Class 52. She lives in Gainesville, FL with her husband Chris and their two children, and together, they are on a mission to run a 5K in all 50 states and visit every MLB stadium.

  • Austin Nicklas '21

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communications, COAS

    Position: Director of Government Affairs for the Northeast Florida Builders Association

    Austin serves as Director of Government Affairs for the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), where he advocates on behalf of the building industry across the region. He graduated magna cum laude from UNF and began his career in public service, holding legislative aide roles in both the Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives, serving Northeast Florida for nearly six years. During his time at UNF, he was involved with Spinnaker Media Student Advisory Board and continues his engagement as a member of the UNF Alumni Association Board of Directors.

    Austin and his wife, Sierra, are recently married and have lived in Jacksonville for almost five years.

  • Rich Phelan '01

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Business Adminisitration in Accounting and Finance, CCB

    Position:
    Investment Advisor Representative at Florida Financial Advisors
     
    Rich Phelan serves as an Investment Advisor Representative at Florida Financial Advisors, where he provides purpose-driven, holistic financial planning to clients nationwide. He graduated from UNF with a degree in accounting and finance and holds multiple industry licenses, including the Series 65, SIE, Series 6, and Florida 2-15. Rich Phelan is a U.S. Navy veteran, Licensed Fiduciary Financial Advisor, and longtime UNF advocate whose connection to the University spans more than two decades. Rich actively leads the Osprey Alumni Advisors Network and remains highly engaged with UNF through campus events and programs. He is passionate about giving back to the community that has played a meaningful role in his personal and professional journey.
  • Phil Reboli '05

    College and Degree:  Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, COAS

    Position: Senior Director for Government Relations at Conservative Partnership Institute

    Phil Reboli serves as Senior Director for Government Relations at a nonprofit in Washington, DC, where he focuses on coalition building, policy analysis, and advancing legislative priorities. He graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and later earned a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Bristol in England.

    During his career, Phil has gained international and federal experience, serving as a researcher at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and working in Congress, including as a Legislative Director in the U.S. Senate.

  • Jasmine Roberts '20

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, COAS

    Position: Academic Career Advisor at Florida State College at Jacksonville

    Jasmine Roberts serves as an Academic Career Advisor at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she is dedicated to helping students grow academically, professionally, and personally. She graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and was highly involved on campus.  She is a multifaceted Osprey who was and is still known for being immersed in various clubs and organizations such as the Black Student Union, the Black Alumni Association (Director of Community Engagement), the Alumni Association, Community Alliance for Student Success (CASS), Child Psychology Club, Diversity in Business, and the Transfer Student Union.

    As a firm advocate for Mental Health, she is a believer in that counseling is an essential guide to helping individuals understand their pathologies as it relates to their relationships, spirituality, actions and much more. Through her efforts, it is with great hope that she can use her knowledge of mental health to aid those that are lost and need a glimmering sense of hope. She has a passion for serving others through the forms of diversity, equity, and inclusion by creating a harmonious and inclusive environment in any given space.

  • Chase Smith '13, '20

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration, CCB

    Position: Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank

    Chase Smith serves as Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where he works in Anti-Financial Crimes to help protect the financial system from abuse. Chase invests in single & multi-family housing in Jacksonville predominantly focusing on rehabilitating dilapidated housing and helps clients find homes providing legal and real estate expertise. His legal and financial acumen is complemented by a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.

    He graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree and later earned his MBA, where he was a member of the Osprey Financial Group, a student-run investment fund managing a portion of the University’s endowment. He believes in UNF's unique ability to provide functional real-world experience to students so that they excel after leaving the classroom. He was recognized as a Jacksonville Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree in 2024.

  • Allyson (Ally) Steeg '13

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communication, COAS

    Position:
    Talent Acquisition Leader at Haskell
     
    Ally Steeg serves as a talent acquisition leader at Haskell, where she leads the Talent Acquisition Sourcing and Talent Branding team, developing strategic pipelines and strengthening the company’s employer brand through people-centered initiatives. She graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
     
    A Jacksonville native, Ally is passionate about building meaningful connections and remains actively engaged in the local community. Ally is a proud mom and spends her time outdoors with her family, exploring the waterways and natural beauty of Northeast Florida.
  • Chris Toms '18

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration, CCB

    Position: Programs Manager for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce

    Chris serves as Programs Manager for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce (JAX Chamber), where he oversees leadership development initiatives including NextUp JAX and the Hightower Fellowship, while also supporting major Chamber events. He began his career in event planning at UNF’s Student Union and later graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management.

    A Jacksonville native, Chris is an Eagle Scout, a Stein Fellow alumnus, and a Visit Jacksonville Tourism Ambassador, demonstrating his strong commitment to community engagement and leadership. In his free time, he enjoys reading, swimming, volunteering, spending time with loved ones, and charcoal grilling.

  • Kara Wade Tucker '06, '07

    College and Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, COAS and BCH

    Position: Chief of Disabled Services for the City of Jacksonville

    Kara Wade Tucker serves as Chief of Disabled Services for the City of Jacksonville, where she leads initiatives that support accessibility and inclusion for individuals with disabilities. She currently serves as the City Liaison to the Mayor’s Disability Council (MDC) & the Mayor’s Hispanic American Advisory Board (MHAAB). She graduated with honors from UNF, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, and later completed a graduate certificate in Rehabilitation Leadership and Management from Auburn University.

    A passionate advocate and accomplished leader, Kara has held significant public service roles, including serving two terms on the Neptune Beach City Council, where she was one of the youngest elected female officials in Florida and served as Vice Mayor. She was awarded the 2009 UNF Young Alumni Achievement Award. She remains deeply engaged in community and statewide initiatives supporting disability advocacy and looks forward to continuing to create meaningful impact.

    Her personal story reflects remarkable resilience, having been born prematurely and overcoming the challenges of cerebral palsy to become a dedicated leader and advocate. Her disability did not hold her back from accomplishing her goals.  In fact, her challenges gave her resiliency and a passion for everything she does, especially advocating for people with disabilities.

  • Adrian Wilson

    College and Degree: Master of Social Work, COAS

    Position: Track & Field and Cross Country Coach

    Adrian Wilson is a strategic leader, coach, and lifelong learner who is passionate about helping people and organizations perform at their best. He graduated from UNF’s College of Arts & Sciences and credits his time at the University with shaping his leadership style, work ethic, and commitment to service.

    A dedicated mentor and community leader, Adrian has strong ties to the local community through years of coaching Track & Field and Cross Country, as well as serving on boards that support the advancement of the sport. He brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven perspective grounded in collaboration, integrity, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact.
