Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Minor

The Exceptional Student Education Minor will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to support learners with exceptionalities across various educational settings. This minor is suitable for students across all education and related service majors, including early childhood, deaf education, disability services, disability services, elementary education, and secondary subject areas.

The minor will serve as a pathway for teacher candidates to become better prepared to work with learners with exceptionalities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to implement high-leverage practices and research-based strategies.

Students must earn a "C" grade or higher and an overall 2.5 GPA in the minor.
