Human-AI Partnership for Work and Learning

Our Mission and Focus

We are dedicated to pioneering research and application at the intersection of human capabilities and artificial intelligence. Our mission is to develop, test, and disseminate knowledge on effective human-AI partnerships that enhance work productivity, learning outcomes, and societal well-being. We focus on projects that empower individuals and organizations through innovation, design thinking and AI.

Core Research Areas:

  • Human-AI Teaming: Studying how humans and AI agents can best collaborate on to solve real-world problems through innovation.
  • Partnering to further explore AI’s impact: Designing AI-powered tools that personalize and optimize educational experiences.
  • Ethical and Responsible AI: Investigating the social, ethical, and organizational implications of human-AI integration.
  • Future of Work: Exploring how AI transforms job roles, skill requirements, and organizational design.

Design Thinking for Good Club (DT4G)

The Design Thinking for Good (DT4G) Club is our student-led initiative dedicated to applying human-centered design principles to solve real-world social and environmental challenges.

What We Do:

  • Workshops & Sprints: Host regular events where participants learn and apply Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Community Projects: Partner with non-profits and community organizations to tackle their toughest problems.
  • Skills Development: Provide mentorship and resources to help students build portfolios in innovation, prototyping, and ethical design.
