At the Silverfield College of Education and Human Services, we believe in the power of experiential learning. Our student clubs create opportunities to connect with peers, explore professional interests and develop the skills that will support your future success. Whether you’re interested in improving your American Sign Language skills, networking with future educators, tackling real-world challenges through design thinking, exploring the sports industry, or engaging in professional development, our clubs provide a welcoming space to learn, grow, and get involved.
  • Education Club
    The Education Club connects future teachers and provides hands-on, career-centered resources. Through meetings and events, the club supports and creates opportunties for all UNF students pursuing a career in education.

  • Higher Education Administration Student Association (HEASA)

    The HEASA club brings higher education students together through social gatherings, study sessions and professional development opportunities. The club aims to create a space where program students can connect, learn and thrive. Members also have the chance to attend regional and national higher education conferences (for example, last year club members attended the National Education Finance Academy), gaining valuable experience and networking opportunities in the field.

  • Signing Ospreys

    Signing Ospreys is a student organization that welcomes learners from all ASL levels — from beginners to students majoring in ASL/English Interpreter, Deaf Education and those minoring in ASL or Deaf Studies. This club provides an opportunity to practice your ASL skills, connect with others and build lasting friendships. Meetings are typically held in the ASL Lab.

  • Sport Analytics Club

    The Sport Analytics Club aims to equip students with a competitive edge in the workforce by connecting them with faculty, staff and industry professionals in sports data science. Club members gain hands-on experience through real-world projects, honing essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork.

  • Sport Management Club

    The Sport Management Club is dedicated to connecting students with industry professionals. Open to all students with a passion for sports, the club offers volunteer opportunities and shares local internship openings to help members gain valuable hands-on experience. Monthly meetings feature guest speakers who provide unique insights into the world of sport. Members also have the chance to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Super Bowl, with participants selected through an interview and essay process.

  • UNF Design Thinking for Good Club

    The UNF Design Thinking for Good Club is a place to make change on campus. Students will learn the processes of Design Thinking and use these methods to tackle wicked problems on campus. Do you have an idea for ways to improve campus? Do you just want to learn a more productive way of problem solving that will help you out in your future profession? Then the Design Thinking for Good Club is the perfect place for you.
