Program Description

COSMA Accredited Institution logoThe Online Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a concentration in Marketing is a 120-credit hour degree program tailored for students who have already earned 60 or more college credit hours or an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Delivered in a cohort format, students begin the program in the Fall semester and progress through a structured two-year schedule alongside their peers—promoting a strong sense of community and academic support. This program is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who understand both the management and marketing sides of the sport industry. Students complete courses in areas such as sport marketing, event and facility management, sport law, organizational behavior, and digital marketing strategies. The concentration in Marketing provides students with additional insights into consumer behavior, branding, promotions, and analytics—all within a sports context. Graduates emerge with a well-rounded education in sport management and a marketing skill set that enhances their career readiness for roles in professional, collegiate, and recreational sports organizations, as well as corporate sponsorship, brand management, and fan engagement.

The program is accredited by the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA), ensuring a high standard of academic quality and industry relevance.

Our Bachelor of Science in Sport Management program is accredited by COSMA.

    The COSMA Accredited Sport Management program is reflective of the fast-paced and growing sports industry across the country. The program of study provides an academic foundation in sports management for application in a variety of sports settings. Of further significance is that students receive valuable employment training though practicum and internship experiences in chosen settings including: college recreation or athletic programs, community recreation agencies, sport organizations or business, sport facilities, and professional sports teams.
