Silverfield Coaching Symposium

The University of North Florida Silverfield College of Education and Human Services is proud to host the inaugural Silverfield Coaching Symposium, a one-day professional development experience dedicated to the evolving landscape of high school coaching and athletic leadership. Taking place on March 2, 2026 at the University of North Florida, this symposium brings together coaches, athletic directors and school leaders from across the region to engage with experienced sports professionals and organizational leaders. Through insightful conversations led by representatives from the A-Sun Conference, the Florida High School Athletic Association, the Jacksonville Sports Foundation, UNF Athletics and Duval County Public Schools, attendees will explore best practices in leadership, athletic administration and the critical connection between high school and collegiate athletics. Participants will leave equipped with practical, evidence-informed strategies to strengthen their programs and better support student-athletes and teams.
