January 11th - March 8th
Elections Tabling at Market Wednesdays 10 am - 2 pm.
Thursday, January 19th: Elections 101 Workshop 6 pm
The Office of Elections will provide potential candidates/parties with information on how to successfully run in an election. Tips, rules, and ideas will be shared.
The workshop will take place in the John E. Sapp conference room in the Student Union Building 58E/3204.
Tuesday, January 24th: Political Party Declaration of Intent due at 5 pm
Forms can be found at the Student Government Rotunda in the Student Union Building, 58E/3300.
Completed forms are due by 5 pm in the Student Government Rotunda, located in the Student Union Building 58E/3300.
Wednesday, February 1st: Elections Fair 10 am - 2 pm
Students and candidates are encouraged to attend and meet the different political parties running in the upcoming election. Party chairs must contact the Supervisor of Elections to discuss setup.
Candidates are permitted to put up their campaign signage. Please review the campus signage map (located in the Candidate Campaign Packet) to ensure you are following the proper policies and procedures.
The Elections Fair will take place at the Student Union's Market Wednesdays Tabling event.
Wednesday, February 1st: Presidential/Vice Presidential and Candidate Declaration of Intent Submission Window Opens
The Office of Elections will begin accepting Candidate Declaration of Intent; they are due at the Student Government Rotunda, located in the Student Union Building 58E/3300
Tuesday, February 14th: Presidential/Vice Presidential and Candidate Declaration of Intent due at 5 pm
Forms can be found at the Student Government Rotunda in the Student Union Building, 58E/3300
Completed forms are due by 5 pm in the Student Government Rotunda, located in the Student Union Building 58E/3300
Monday, February 20th: Mandatory Candidacy Meeting 6 pm - 7 pm
Located in the John E. Sapp conference room, on the third floor of the Student Union Building 58E/3204
*Each candidate is required to attend at least one of these meetings or will be disqualified from running.*
Thursday, February 23rd: Mandatory Candidacy Meeting 6 pm - 7 pm

Wednesday, March 1st: Presidential & Vice Presidential, Senator Meet & Greet 5 pm - 6:30 pm
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend to meet candidates and discuss pressing issues.
Located in Student Union Ballrooms C & D, Bldg. 58W.
Tuesday, March 21st: Elections 9 am - 6 pm
Polling booths will be set up from 9 am until 6 pm at the Library and Student Union Plaza. Online voting will be available at any time throughout the entirety of the election.

Thursday, March 23rd: Campaign/Candidate Financial Statements Due at 5 pm
Candidate Financial Statements are due by 5 pm in the Student Government Rotunda in the Student Union Building 58E/3300. All expenses must be declared. Refer to title VI, Elections: Policies and Procedures for more details.
Thursday, March, 23rd: Judicial Complaints submitted by 5 pm and Signage removal by 5 pm
Any A&S fee-paying student may file a judicial complaint regarding the election. Judicial complaints must be filed by 5 pm on March 23rd, 2023, and submitted to the Student Government Rotunda in the Student Union Building 58E/3300, with the exception of the Supervisor of Elections.
Campaigns are responsible for removing all campaign-related materials by 5 pm
Friday, March 31st: Validation of Elections Results 1 pm

How to Run in Elections
Step 1:
Go to the Student Government Rotunda located in the Student Union Building 58E/3300 to pick up any required forms.
Step 2:
Return the completed forms to the Student Government Rotunda located in the Student Union Building 58E/3300 before any relative deadlines found in the Timeline.
