Intramural Sports

The University of North Florida Intramural Sports Program is dedicated to provide students, faculty and staff an opportunity to participate in athletic and non-athletic recreational activities in a fun and safe environment while promoting physical fitness, social interaction, and campus involvement.

Each Fall and Spring semester, the program offers a wide range of team, dual, and individual activities aimed at maximizing student participation. Activities include flag football, volleyball, sand volleyball, indoor soccer, outdoor soccer, softball, basketball, racquetball, tennis, kickball, and much more.

Every intramural league and tournament sport is divided into three leagues of play: Men's, Women's, and Co-Rec. All intramural activities are FREE to UNF students who have paid their student activities fees, and all full time faculty and staff. Intramural Sports is a great way to meet new people and stay active at the same time.

Intramural Update

Due to Covid-19, Intramurals will not be played this Fall Semester. It is our hope that our leagues will resume in the Spring Semester. During this time, we will post rules for our newest sport, Disk Golf, on our website, along with other information that will benefit our leagues in the Spring. We hope you have a successful Fall. We will see you on the fields again soon!

As always, the UNF Intramural department is looking for ways to improve and keep moving forward. We always appreciate comments or ideas on how we can develop a better program for you, the students.  If you have any ideas on how we can improve, please feel free to contact the Intramural supervisors or Beth Harrell, Assistant Director of Recreation and Wellness, responsible for the intramural program. Our job is to ensure that the students have a fun, safe environment to play sports right here on campus. We look forward to a great year and hope to see you out at the fields!
