- Additionally, as the Respondent was found responsible for 5.4, 5.5, 14.0, and 22.0, the Respondent is “responsible for being in violation of rules, guidelines or requirements established for fraternities and sororities.”
Sanctions:
- Social Hold: The organization is restricted from holding any social events as an individual organization or in conjunction with another organization from August 4, 2023, to December 13, 2024. The organization can participate in University-wide events and individual organizational events (such as recruitment, philanthropy, and leadership or educational training).
- Event Restriction: All events/meetings/socials/functions/etc. of the organization will have an advisor present, either virtually or in person, effective now through May 10, 2024.
- Educational Module: 100% organization is required to complete the Osprey Ascend Learning Module Hazing Prevention by October 2, 2023. A complete roster with documentation of member completion should be emailed to the Dean of Students Office at universityconduct@unf.edu no later than October 6, 2023.
- Disciplinary Probation: Effective immediately, the chapter is on Disciplinary Probation through May 10, 2025.
