Bring Nutrition Expertise Into Every Healthcare Conversation
The Nutrition for Healthcare concentration is a fully online, 30-credit-hour master's program built for healthcare professionals, including nurses, physician assistants, health coaches and physical therapists, who want to speak with authority on nutrition in interdisciplinary care settings. Full-time and part-time paths are available.
You'll gain the evidence-based nutrition knowledge to contribute confidently in care team discussions, support better patient outcomes and stand out in an increasingly nutrition-conscious healthcare field.
This concentration is designed to deepen nutrition expertise for professionals already working in healthcare. It does not lead to Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialing. If RD credentialing is your goal, explore UNF's Nutrition and Dietetics track instead.

Admissions Review
Applicants meeting all criteria are typically notified of acceptance upon review*, space permitting. Applications not meeting all criteria may be admitted to the trial program, on a competitive basis and space permitting. -
Tuition
The UNF Online MS Nutrition distance learning program is approved for non-standard tuition, e.g., market rate or self-supporting tuition. The tuition and fee assessments for these programs vary and are shown on the UNF Tuition & Fees page Tuition and Fees- Graduate*. For information regarding state tuition waivers, please see our page on University accepted waivers.
The State Employee Waiver cannot be used for non-state funded programs, which include:
- Nutrition and Dietetics: Dietetic Professional Studies, M.S.
- Nutrition and Dietetics: Nutrition for Healthcare Professionals, M.S.
- Nursing: Post-MSN DNP
