Download Visitor Instructions--a login may be required  to send to visitors.

     Verbiage template:

A validation code allows you to park in either Blue or Gray Lots and these locations are listed on the kiosk map sent to you. Avoid parking in marked spaces such as Reserved, Faculty/Staff and 20 minute. Make sure to park "nose-in" so that your license plate is visible from the driving lane. Take note (or take a picture on your smartphone) of your vehicle license plate to enter at the kiosk. Please verify that you have entered the validation code correctly as well as the license plate number. All Florida license plate numbers use the number zero instead of the letter O.

Visitor validation: valid parking in marked Green, Blue and Gray Lot spaces.

  • Encourage visitors to use a smart phone or web browser to enter codes

    Yes.

Refer visitors to the Flowbird app webpage prior to their visit

  • Can a multi-day code be created?

Yes, for the event code requests only. Please make sure detail of the start and end dates are listed within the Brief Description of Event box within the code request form.

The multi-day code will allow the guest to enter the code via phone app Flowbird or at any one of our Pay-by-Plate kiosks for the first day of their visit (first day cannot be prior to the event date). The guest will not need to return to the phone app or a kiosk to enter the code for each day the event is occurring.

  • How am I invoiced based on the code system?

Parking runs a report to verify how many times the issued code is used. Once the amount is verified, it is then invoiced to the Banner Account Code listed within the submitted code request form.

    • With the Banner Account code, the cost is $2 per use per day.
    • If a Banner Account code is not used and instead payment includes cash, check or debit/credit: the cost is $5 per use per day.
  • What if the code isn't working?
    • The license plate number is entered as the code instead of the license plate entry field.
    • The code is entered prior to the event date.
    • The incorrect code may have been given to the visitor in error.
    • The kiosk may temporarily be out of service (there are several other serviceable kiosks, map).
Please inform us via (904) 620 - 2815 or parking@unf.edu and feel free to use the flowbird app as another option.
  • What if the visitor receives a ticket?
    • Time delay: duration of parking the vehicle and then walking to kiosk to enter the code.
