Nine-Month Faculty Benefits

All nine-month faculty (who have not elected deferred pay) enrolled in a State Group Insurance Program health insurance plan will have their deductions doubled beginning with the first paycheck in February through the first paycheck in May. These additional deductions will take place to pay premiums for the coverage months June, July, August, and September. Regular deductions will resume on the first paycheck in September. Please review your paycheck statements during the double deduction period to ensure that deductions for premium payments are correct.

Please note, any form of summer pay received will include premium deductions for retirement and flexible spending. If you would like to stop your voluntary retirement deductions during the summer months, please visit the Office of Human Resources for assistance.
