Judith Rodriguez Nutrition & Dietetics Endowed Scholarship

Donor Criteria
The Donor has determined that eligible students must:

  • meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida, enroll as a First Time In College (FTIC) student accepted for Fall admission
  • reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • demonstrate a GPA of at least 2.5
  • declare a major in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid
  • with preference given to members of the following UNF student clubs: Black Student Union, Rasine Kreyol, Spanish Club, African Student Union, Asian Students in Alliance, Filipino Student Association, Latin American Student Organization, Muslim Students’ Association and/or the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Student Responsibility
Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:

  • enroll full time with at least 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and earn
  • a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year
  • earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 for renewal of scholarship
  • comply with all University regulations, rules and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement

or the purpose of reporting to the Donor:

  • remain in good standing as a student
  • file FAFSA form with the federal government each year
