How We Build a Culture of Health

Consistent with UNF’s traditional practice of working closely with partner organizations in the community, the Brooks College of Health has established strong working relationships with the major hospitals and healthcare providers in the region, as well as government health departments, school districts, community health organizations, and health-related businesses.

These organizations work hand-in-hand with the College to identify community needs, anticipate and address issues, conduct research and provide educational and career opportunities for students – and to assure graduates are prepared to meet the challenges of a demanding and complex world.

Health Investors

The Brooks College of Health has experienced remarkable growth and success since its inception in 1988. The generosity of friends and alumni is vital to the future of the Brooks College of Health. Achieving quality and excellence in education is a challenging goal. It requires the latest technology, exceptional faculty, and gifted students.

Another important component to continued success is an ongoing financial commitment from outside sources. The College relies on the generous support of individuals, corporations, and foundations that provide funding for a broad range of activities. These activities include student scholarships, student emergency needs, academic enrichment, such as conferences, program support, and equipment needs, faculty and staff development, faculty and student research, student recruitment resources, and other important College enhancements.
