2014_HGTV_Spinks_601x400John (a UNF junior in Building Construction Management) and Whitney Spinks were participants in Season 1 of HGTV's "Flipping the Block."  At the viewing party for the season finale, John and Whitney were presented a UNF Alumni Gift Basket for bringing national recognition to the program.

  In the 2014 PayScale College ROI Report, a UNF Computer Science degree is ranked #1 in terms of return on investment (ROI) over 20 years among Florida public universities, and UNF comes in second only to UF in annual ROI for Florida public universities.

Watch the Osprey Racing documentary, "Looking Forward." The short video reviews the history and aspirations of Osprey Racing, a non-profit chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). This group of University of North Florida students are designing and building a formula race car to compete internationally against other universities.

20140521_bbq_dean_2_536x400On 21 May 2014, a crowd of 100 gathered to enjoy good food, reconnect with faculty, catch up with colleagues and meet spouses and kids in an informal and fun setting. The group enjoyed being outside in the courtyard between Buildings 50 and 4, where the kids played corn hole, tossed balls and other beach games. The featured game of chance was the “Dunk the Dean” water tank. Dean Tumeo was a good sport and was dunked a dozen times! We will plan to make this an annual event!
