Jacksonville is home to a large number of significant companies in the Financial Services industry, with many focused, or committed to, FinTech (Financial Technology). Many of these firms are headquartered in Jacksonville, such as Black Knight, Dun and Bradstreet, FIS, Fortegra, Nymbus, VyStar. Many other Financial companies have a large presence in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, such as Ally, Bank of America, Citi, Deutsche Bank, SoFi, TIAA, Wells Fargo.

In recognition of the importance of FinTech to the region, UNF's Coggin College of Business and College of Computing, Engineering, and Construction are pleased to collaborate on the following academic programs to support FinTech.

FinTech Minor (coming Fall 2023, for Coggin students to learn the technology side of FinTech)

A key feature of these programs will be the opportunity for students to participate in internships and industry-sponsored projects.

Fintech Research Collaborative

CCEC and Coggin College of Business are planning to create a research collaborative where industry can work with UNF faculty and students on research projects.
