The Sanders Network, LLC has been a beacon of innovation in career and workforce development since its inception. Owned by Clorinda Sanders, she prides herself on delivering cutting-edge training solutions that cater to a diverse range of professional needs—from entry-level job seekers to senior executives looking to enhance their leadership skills. It works with marginalized populations to enhance work opportunities and advance the quality of life for individuals who partner with it. The services extend beyond training to include consulting on change management and organizational alignment.

The journey to founding The Sanders Network was fueled by a lifelong ambition to be a business owner, an aspiration rooted in Clorinda’s experience in the nonprofit sector and a childhood dream stemming from a disadvantaged background. This dream drove Clorinda to return to school later in life, a decision that marked a new chapter in both professional and personal life. After years in  nonprofit career development, Clorinda embarked on an educational odyssey by first getting her associate degree from the University of Phoenix, followed by dual master’s degrees, and culminated in a Doctorate in Business, making Clorinda the first in her family to achieve such an academic milestone. Recently, certifications such as Certified Career Services Provider and Global Career Development Facilitator were added, along with graduation from a local Entrepreneurship Program.

The year 2024 was transformative for the business, largely due to the support from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). With help from the SBDC, the company secured a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification from the SBA and obtained its first business loan from, which was crucial for scaling operations. Clorinda’s SBDC consultant, Mark Wideman, was instrumental in helping secure this loan. From the onset, the respect and hope imparted by Mark were incredible. She says of her experience “his professionalism, knowledge, and supportive demeanor made me feel positive and encouraged. Mark’s expertise was evident as he quickly assisted in crafting a strategic 5-year business plan, which prepared the company for successful loan approval. His support was instrumental in navigating the complexities of financial planning and connecting with key financial partners.” Clorinda worked closely with Mark's resource network, who were instrumental in processing the loan that helped propel the business forward. She says “Mark goes above and beyond to help and still provides support. I’m glad to have met Mark through these community connections.”

Clorinda is an avid volunteer and supporter of community initiatives. One of her proudest roles has been serving as a Board Member and Director of Workforce Readiness for the Jacksonville Chapter of SHRM, where she’s able to influence training methodologies and stay connected with the latest in HR innovations. Clorinda’s story is a testament to the power of community support and the impact of lifelong learning on entrepreneurial success. She is grateful for the network of support that has accompanied her on this journey, proving that with determination and community engagement, ambitious dreams can become reality.
