UNF’s Orientation Program is a mandatory program filled with informational sessions, academic advising, course registration, and meeting and interacting with other incoming Ospreys.
The Summer and Fall New Student Orientation program consists of two days of activities. The first day consists of meeting with your Orientation Team Leader (OTLs - The Swoop Squad), meeting fellow incoming Osprey students, learning about UNF's traditions and history, athletics and recreation, and housing. You will have an opportunity to tour the residential properties at the conclusion of the first day. The second day is filled with exciting activities such as academic advising, course registration, participating in workshop sessions and the student affairs showcase. For complete details regarding the New Student Orientation program visit the Student Schedule.
Students starting in the Spring will have a one-day Orientation session. During this session, students will be able to hear about the various offices on campus that will impact their college career! We will have a showcase of our Student Affairs programs that will provide students with the knowledge of what activities, programs and experiences we provide for them to get involved on campus! Students will also meet with an Orientation Team Leader and have the opportunity to ask them questions about student life.
