Schilling STEM Scholarship

Students eligible for this scholarship must:
  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida,
  • Be an undergraduate student entering or enrolled full-time in a STEM major (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics), with at least 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters,
  • Earn a minimum UNF recalculated high school GPA, or a transfer GPA, of at least 3.3,
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3,
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes,
  • Be a United States citizen, or a lawful permanent resident,
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid.
  • Once the initial screening criteria have been met, students will be awarded based on merit, and those with the highest GPA will be selected.

Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:

  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year,
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.3,
  • File FAFSA form with the federal government each year, 
  • Comply with all University regulations, rules and codes of conduct governing students on campus,
  • Consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donors, and
  • Remain in good standing as a student.
