Supporting Student Success at UNF
The Success Advocacy program at the University of North Florida provides additional support to students who may be facing academic or institutional challenges that could affect their retention, timely progression, and graduation. Our team of dedicated advocates work closely with students, faculty, and staff to identify and address both individual and systemic needs.
How We Help:

- Refer students: Encourage students facing academic or personal difficulties to contact the Success Advocate for support. You can refer students by submitting an Academic Alert through myNest or email studentsuccess@unf.edu.
- Provide information: Share relevant information about the student's academic progress and challenges with the Success Advocate. This will help them develop a comprehensive support plan.
- Collaborate on solutions: Work together with the Success Advocate to find solutions for the student's specific needs. This could involve coordinating academic support services, adjusting course schedules, or connecting the student with campus resources.

When should I refer a student to the Success Advocate?
Consider referring a student to the Success Advocate if they are an undergraduate student and meet any of the following criteria:
Need help:

- Exploring options for their desired major.

- Understanding university policies and procedures.
Are at risk of:
