UNF ranked as a Best National University by U.S. News & World Report

The University of North Florida is ranked among the best national universities in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 edition of “Best Colleges” for the fifth consecutive year.

UNF improved in the national rankings and as a top public school and top performer in social mobility. The University is also recognized for its undergraduate engineering, business, computer science and nursing programs as well as newly ranked for its psychology and economics programs.

Ranked national universities are recognized as the very best in offering a full range of undergraduate majors, in addition to master’s and doctoral programs and groundbreaking faculty research. The top-ranked undergraduate programs are chosen based on the high regard and judgments of deans and senior faculty members at peer institutions across the country.

“Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to the success of all our students, and I am pleased to see UNF’s reputation growing on a national level,” said UNF President Moez Limayem. “Our renewed Strategic Plan outlines our ambitious aspiration to grow to a Top 100 Public University in these rankings, which will ultimately be a reflection of our work to improve opportunities and outcomes for students.”
