Public Health Accelerated B.S.H to MPH Program
The B.S.H. to MPH 4+1 pathway is designed for students who are ready to move their Public Health journey forward with purpose. This accelerated option allows motivated B.S.H. students to apply to the MPH program during their junior year and earn both degrees in just five years.
Program Timeline
This is a 4+1 program designed to be completed in approximately five years. Students selected for the pathway complete graduate-level coursework while finishing their undergraduate requirements, creating a northward route that saves time, reduces cost and builds momentum toward advanced public health careers.

18 credits of B.S.H.-Public Health courses are substituted by the six graduate level courses below, which can be counted towards both the B.S.H.-Public Health and MPH degrees.

Program Specific Requirements
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Earn a major B.S.H.-Public Health GPA of 3.5
- First, meet with your Undergraduate Advisor to determine eligibility
- Second, email your Letter of Intent to the MPH Program Director
