Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
Dietetic Professional Studies (online)
The Professional Studies concentration is a distance learning option for those students who wish to emphasize the application of advanced nutrition knowledge to a variety of practice areas. The program is 35 (30 beginning in fall of 2024) credit hours and is completely online. Applicants must be credentialed registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN’s) or those with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and DPD verification statement from an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
The MS Online in Nutrition and Dietetics Professional Studies concentration is a great option for students attending a stand-alone dietetic internship or who wish to pursue a master’s degree before completing their supervised practice.
Full-time and part-time options are available. Applications for the professional studies concentration are accepted for Fall, Spring, and Summer starts.

Admissions Review
Applicants meeting all criteria are typically notified of acceptance upon review*, space permitting. Applications not meeting all criteria may be admitted to the trial program, on a competitive basis and space permitting. -

The UNF Online MS Nutrition distance learning program is approved for non-standard tuition, e.g., market rate or self-supporting tuition.
