The St. Joe Company Endowed Scholarship / Fellowship

CRITERIA:

  • Meet admissions requirements to the University of North Florida, and be accepted in the College of Education and Human Services as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for junior or senior years and a 3.0 for graduate students.
  • Pursue a degree in Education with preference given to students wishing to teach in an urban school and/or specialize in ESOL teaching strategies.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn 24 credits by the end of each academic year for undergraduate students.
  • Enroll part-time (6 credit hours) each semester for graduate students.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 for junior or senior years and a 3.0 for graduate students.
  • Consent to release grades to the Division of Institutional Advancement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor.
  • Comply with all University regulations, rules and codes of conduct governing students on campus.
  • Remain in good standing as a student.

RENEWAL:

  • Current recipients may apply for renewal and will be given preference pending availability of funding, and if all of the preceding requirements have been met.
  • Recipients will receive an award letter identifying the maximum number of semesters or credit hours eligible for scholarship or fellowship support.
