Welcome to the College of Education and Human Services! I am honored to serve as the Dean for the 2024 - 2025 Academic Year and to lead such a remarkable team of faculty, staff and students. 

Our college is dedicated to fostering lifelong learners who make meaningful contributions to their communities and thrive in a constantly evolving world. Whether you aspire to become a teacher, school administrator, counselor, interpreter or a leader in the sports industry, COEHS offers innovative and unique programs designed to equip you with the tools for success. Our graduates become change makers in professionally and personally rewarding careers, while our faculty members are exemplary educators and researchers who are committed to addressing and solving contemporary challenges in education and human services. 

We share a steadfast commitment with the Greater Jacksonville education community to nurturing an inclusive and diverse environment. Our college's estimated community economic impact for the 2023-2024 academic year exceeded $5.3 million and we have secured $3.6 million in contract and grant expenditures for fiscal year 2024. Looking ahead, we aim to expand our external funding to provide even more resources for our students and faculty.
