Regulation Overview
General University Governance
The University of North Florida operates within the governance framework established by the State of Florida. The Florida Constitution provides that each public university is administered by its board of trustees, while the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) governs the State University System. Under this authority, the BOG has established requirements for the adoption of university regulations, and UNF maintains policies and regulations to support effective governance, ensure compliance and guide University operations.
