Application for Enrollment
At the UNF Preschool, we pride ourselves on providing the best education to children. We accept children from ages 2.5 years to 5 years old. All children must be fully potty trained at time of enrollment.
Parents who wish to enroll their children at the center can come to our administrative offices at Building 49 or call us at (904) 620-2372 to schedule a tour. Our application package can also be picked up from our office or emailed to you as a PDF if there are spots available. The application forms and Blue & Yellow Immunization and Physical Form from your child's pediatrician/doctor should be returned to the UNF Preschool by email or dropped off in the front office. In order to qualify for student rate you will need to submit a copy of your class schedule.
Applications for UNF Preschool are accepted from UNF students, UNF faculty & staff, UNF Alumni, and the general public throughout the year. If the center has reached maximum enrollment, potential UNF Preschool parents may have their name added to our notification list. We will notify you as soon as a spot becomes available. Registration at UNF Preschool

Please stop by our front office and pick-up an enrollment package, all forms must be completed and returned to our office before your child's start date.

Visit your child's pediatrician to obtain the most updated physical and immunization forms.

All registration and supply fee(s) must be paid in full. All payments will be made online via MyWings. UNF Preschool will create an account for you to access. We do not accept cash, checks or credit cards.

If you have an account at UNF Preschool, it must have a zero balance before you can register.

If you are applying for the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program, you must apply through The Early Learning Coalition's office and obtain the VPK voucher. You will be required to submit a completed VPK application with proof of residency, child's date of birth and child's social security number. Please visit ELC of Duval for more information.

Application for Enrollment in the Voluntary Pre Kindergarten (VPK) Program
In addition to filling out UNF Preschool's application, parents enrolling their children into the VPK program will also need to fill out a VPK application form from The Early Learning Coalition. Parents can visit the Early Learning Coalition's website for more information to enroll their child in the VPK Program. A copy of your child's enrollment in the county's VPK Program must be filed with UNF Preschool.

- Mondays/ Wednesdays/ Fridays or Tuesdays/ Thursdays enrollment is based on availability
- Extra day charges will be applied to your account if child is brought outside of contracted scheduled days. Please talk to the office before adding days for ratio/staffing discrepancies. Always receive confirmation of any extra days with the office first.
- An annual registration fee will be charged at the beginning of every fall semester. Patrons who register towards the end of school year (summer) will pay $40 for the remaining of the current school year and then onward follow the regular annual schedule for registration fee payment.
CCAMPIS Grant
The CCAMPIS Program supports the participation of low-income parents in postsecondary education through the provision of campus-based child care services. The goal of this project is to provide low-cost early care and learning services for low income student parents at the University of North Florida in order to facilitate parents' degree completion and children's developmental flourishing and school readiness. UNF Preschool will assure that CCAMPIS recipients with disabilities and their children are fully supported and included in all program activities. UNF Preschool will work with CCAMPIS recipients to help them find appropriate placements and support for any children whose disabilities necessitate a specialized learning environment.
Eligibility:
- Must be an undergraduate or international student who is Pell-eligible.
- Must be enrolled a minimum of six undergraduate credit hours each term - fall, summer and spring at UNF.
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).

Award:
- 10 recipients will each be awarded a CCAMPIS Grant to pay a portion of childcare tuition based on their child's enrollment status.
- Free access to all UNF Preschool supplemental programs such as soccer, visual art and music.
CCAMPIS Grant means:
- Help connecting to appropriate resources if you have any nutrition, healthcare, mental health support, academic or other needs
- Low-cost, high quality, flexible early learning and care services for your child
- Support for your persistence in earning a college degree
- Priority admission for your child at UNF Preschool
- Free enrichment classes for your child
- 50% off of UNF Preschool student rates
- Full-time care, part-time care, half-day drop-in care options.
