Ways to Complete Experiential Learning

Conveniently, there are lots of ways you can complete Experiential Learning (EL) at UNF. Many academic programs require EL through internships, research, capstones, or community-based learning, so you meet the expectations through your coursework. Outside of the classroom, you might choose to study abroad, become president of a registered student organization, or apply for a recognized work-integrated learning opportunity like Orientation Leader or Resident Assistant. These are a few of the other ways to meet the expectations.

Approved and eligible non-credit bearing opportunities to complete EL at UNF will be in Engage UNF. This is also where you can keep track of the Experiential Learning activities and courses you complete.

If you are unsure if an opportunity will count towards the Experiential Learning requirement, you can always contact the Office of Experiential Learning, explearn@unf.edu.
