UNF launches “Soaring Together” Corporate Partnership Program

In today’s fast-paced and highly competitive talent market, the University of North Florida is redefining industry partnership through the launch of the Soaring Together Corporate Partnership Program.

This new strategic engagement initiative is aimed at deepening collaboration with local and regional employers. Recognized as the region’s No.1 talent provider, UNF is a trail blazer in creating industry connections. With Jacksonville’s business community expanding rapidly, the new program reinforces UNF’s role as the premier source for career-ready graduates across all fields.

“The goal is to make it easier for companies to do business with UNF while providing students with opportunities to succeed,” said Gabe Grass, UNF’s director of Corporate Relations & Major Gifts and one of the program’s lead organizers.

The Soaring Together Corporate Partnership Program builds on UNF’s longstanding relationships with local companies by introducing a comprehensive, streamlined engagement plan led by UNF’s Career Services Industry Engagement and Corporate Relations teams.

Designed to offer a high return on investment for companies, the program provides participating businesses with unique on-campus access, brand-building opportunities and a full suite of benefits, including priority placement at student engagement events, targeted marketing deliverables, exclusive access to career fairs and more. In addition to strengthening their recruitment pipelines, industry partners can make a direct impact on student success through scholarship contributions and mentorship.

Students also benefit from clearer exposure to companies and industries they might not otherwise encounter. Through integrated programming like resume days, on-campus interview opportunities and direct mentorship experiences, employers help UNF students build confidence and career clarity.

Several companies have already signed on to be part of the Soaring Together initiative, including PIVOT CPAs, W. W. Gay, Corporate Traffic Logistics, Stellar and Miller Electric. These companies represent a diverse array of industries, and their involvement underscores the program’s wide appeal and the growing demand for strong, university-business partnerships.

W. W. Gay’s decision to join was sparked by a renewed recruitment strategy and a strong impression made during UNF’s employer orientation. The company signed on immediately after attending and has already seen success with four recent UNF intern hires.

Corporate Traffic Logistics has proudly partnered with UNF for 15 years, growing from event participation to sponsoring the Business Career Fair.

“We’re committed to supporting students from their first day to graduation day,” said Tina-Marie Zolezzi, director of Human Capital Management at Corporate Traffic. “This partnership has been key to our recruitment efforts, and we look forward to future growth and opportunities.
