UNF sculpture students heat up campus with molten art at fall Iron Pour

Students collaborating on an art piece using molten ironThe University of North Florida’s sculpture program will host the first Iron Pour event since COVID began from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, at the UNF Sculpture Yard behind Building 6.

Celebrate the fire arts as students pour molten iron onto sand blocks to cast images at this artistic demonstration. Attendees with no prior experience can create an iron piece by making a scratchblock in sand and having it cast in iron; small scratchblocks cost $10 and large are $15. Parking will be available in Parking Lots 9 and 10.
