UNF Swisher Growth Cohort for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs accepting applications

The University of North Florida’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) and Swisher have joined forces and built a partnership program designed to educate and support innovators and entrepreneurs from all walks of life.

The Swisher Growth Cohort participants will work with UNF faculty and resources to improve their business knowledge and plans through engaging workshops, speaker events and hands-on mentoring. The UNF CEI facilitates the development of these early-stage companies by offering business plan development, co-working space, help from student interns, professional support and strong networking opportunities.

This is a free 8-week program designed for early stage companies that are generating revenue and are looking to take their business to the next level. The top pitch winners are awarded cash prizes at the conclusion of the program and all participants receive business knowledge and a plan for their present or future business.

Applications for the cohort open on Monday, July 12 and close on Sunday, Aug. 8. Information sessions will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 4. The official Swisher Growth Cohort classes begin Monday, Aug. 23.

More information on CEI and the Swisher Growth Cohort for underrepresented entrepreneurs can be found via the Cohort Information website.
