Athletics Welcomes 2021 Hall of Fame Class

It took a few extra months but North Florida Athletics was finally able to host another memorable Hall of Fame ceremony, welcoming the Osprey's latest class with a reception Saturday night at UNF's Adam W. Herbert University Center.

The 2021 Hall of Fame class includes Phil Black (Baseball), Cari Chewning (Softball), Carolina Lencina (Women's Soccer), Kevin Phelan (Men's Golf) and Parker Smith (Men's Basketball) as well as the Ospreys' 2012-14 beach volleyball squads rounding out the newest group of honorees.

The evening's festivities featured Richard Miller, the Voice of the Ospreys, as the emcee and included a meal and welcome remarks by North Florida Director of Athletics, Lee Moon. The list of presenters for the event included UNF Hall of Famer and former UNF baseball head coach Dusty Rhodes, former women's softball (Sonya Wilmoth) and women's soccer (Linda Hamilton) along with current men's basketball (Matthew Driscoll) and men's golf (Scott Schroeder) coaches. Senior Associate AD for Development, External and Financial Operations, Nick Morrow, presented the beach volleyball programs.
