UNF art professor featured at 10th Biennial of Douro in Portugal and other exhibitions

Sheila Goloborotko standing against a patterned gray backgroundDr. Sheila Goloborotko, printmaking associate professor in UNF’s Department of Art, Art History and Design, is currently showcasing her art in multiple exhibitions around the world.

Goloborotko is one of the international artists and curators featured at the 10th Biennial of Douro at the Coa in Portugal running through October 2020. The exhibit features more than 1,300 works from 625 artists from 64 countries.  View Goloborotko’s artist profile.

Her work also was selected for “A Peculiar Proximity to Spiritual Mysteries” at the Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA) in Kennesaw, Georgia. The show features key contemporary works created by 20 artists of diverse cultural backgrounds displayed in the permanent collection of the ZMA. View show information.

In addition, Goloborotko curated the exhibition, “Multiple Ones: Contemporary Perspectives in Printmedia” currently on display through January 2021 at UNF’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Jacksonville. View exhibit information. 

Goloborotko is a multidisciplinary artist and master printmaker who has exhibited installations, works on paper, sculpture, videos, and interactive projects in more than 200 exhibitions in museums and galleries on four continents.
