Dear Colleagues,

The African American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA) at the University of North Florida (UNF) has been and is committed to supporting faculty and staff through its membership activities and cultural and community events especially during these uncertain and emotional times. 

Our membership is open to all UNF faculty and staff who strive to build influential networks and create strong collaborations with the broader UNF and Jacksonville communities. AAFSA encourages you to join us in our work by serving on one of our committees: Marketing and Communications, Events and Activities, Member Affairs, and Finance. Your service to the organization is invaluable to AAFSA’s mission to develop a supportive network for employees of African descent, provide services that meet their needs, and promote cultural, educational, fundraising, and civic activities in alignment with the academic mission of the University.

I urge you to join AAFSA as we support our members and launch new initiatives. I promise you that AAFSA will prove to be both rewarding and productive for your University experience.
