Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Learning Design and Technology (LDT) program provides students with the knowledge and practical experience to design, develop, and implement effective learning and training solutions. The curriculum blends instructional theory with applied learning, offering opportunities to create real-world educational tools and content that support learners in both academic and professional settings.
Students can choose from two concentrations. Workforce Learning and Leadership focuses on training, leadership, and organizational development in workplace settings. Professional Education is designed for those interested in careers that involve technology integration and instructional support in educational environments.
Throughout the program, students explore evidence-based practices, emerging technologies, and instructional design principles. Coursework is enriched by opportunities for research, industry internships, and collaborative projects that help students build their portfolios and gain relevant experience.
Graduates of the LDT program are prepared for careers in instructional design, e-learning development, and training across a range of industries. These include large corporations such as Disney, Florida Blue, and Amazon, as well as roles in government, the military, nonprofits, and education.
