UNF Kinesiology Team won SEACSM Quiz Bowl
The University of North Florida's undergraduate Kinesiology Program Quiz Bowl Team won first place at the 51st annual Southeast American College of Sports Medicine (SEACSM) Quiz Bowl in Greenville, SC.
Competing against 31 other Universities, UNF students answered Jeopardy-style topics related to Kinesiology with two rounds and a final Jeopardy question.
Team members Karie Abel, Sterling Lucas, and Mackenzie Kennon will represent UNF and the SEACSM at the national American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) competition in Denver, CO., on May 31, 2023.
The SEACSM consists of a diverse group of professionals and students dedicated to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. The chapter seeks to communicate scientific information, provide a forum for research, foster professional peer interaction, and support career growth. SEACSM serves members in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
