Brooks College of Health delivers donations collected for Hurricane Ian relief
Led by students in Dr. Tamara Gibson-Alonso's Program Planning Class as a service learning opportunity, the University of North Florida coordinated a month-long donation drive for those impacted by Hurricane Ian. Students and faculty collected clothes, household items, food donations, tarps, baby food, diapers, children’s toys, and more. UNF Athletics donated 200 shirts and athletic shorts. The donations were accepted by Goodwill, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Punta Gorda, FL.
