UNF partners with Duval County Supervisor of Elections to encourage voter registration
UNF has partnered with the Duval County Supervisor of Elections and other area educational institutions and sports teams to promote National Voter Registration Day on September 20, 2022.
The campaign's goal is to share how easy it is to register to vote or look up important election awareness information. Participating partners include Florida State College at Jacksonville, Jacksonville University, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jacksonville Icemen, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Jacksonville Sharks.
Established in 2012, National Voter Registration Day celebrates an annual moment for the entire nation to focus on registering Americans to exercise their most basic right – the right to vote.
On September 20, each National Voter Registration Day partner released a social media postcard that shares a QR code and/or link, driving people to the Duval County Supervisor of Elections website.
This collective social media initiative will potentially reach over 1.2 million people to encourage voter registration. More information and voter registration information can be found at www.duvalelections.gov.
