UNF honors Veterans Day with Week of Valor
In honor of Veterans Day, the University of North Florida Military and Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) will host a Week of Valor celebration with displays, tabling, social media contests, virtual events and giveaways for students from Monday, Nov. 9, through Friday, Nov. 13.
The week-long series will kick off with students and MVRC representatives installing 1,325 American flags on the UNF Green to represent the current military-affiliated students at UNF. The display will stay up all week long and encourage the Osprey community to take a moment to thank a classmate, a colleague, or a friend for their service to our country.
