Esports arena construction progress

July 2025

Construction officially began on June 30 on the future home of the UNF Flight Deck Arena. Work is now underway on the second floor of the John A. Delaney Student Union west building, marking a major milestone in bringing this exciting new campus space to life. Construction is projected to be completed in the early part of the spring semester, paving the way for a vibrant, state-of-the-art environment where students can connect, compete, and build community through esports and gaming.

Spring Tournaments

Plans are already underway for the first tournaments to take place in the new Flight Deck Arena. Designed to bring students together through competition and community, these events will invite both high school and college players to experience the excitement of esports at UNF. The inaugural tournaments are scheduled to launch in March 2026, more information will be announced as the season approaches.
