Support UNF Esports

Esports at the University of North Florida is about more than competition. It’s about teamwork, strategy, and building a community where students can thrive in and out of the game. Your support makes it possible to provide better equipment, scholarships, and opportunities for our players to compete on a national stage while proudly representing UNF. When you give to UNF Esports, you’re helping us grow a program that inspires leadership, creativity, and connection across campus.

Your support makes it possible to provide students with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed. Investments in scholarships, equipment, and program development ensure that UNF Esports remains competitive on a national scale while also fostering an inclusive community that welcomes all students. By partnering with us, you are not only helping Ospreys compete at the highest levels but also shaping the future of a program that inspires pride, builds connections, and strengthens the UNF experience.

Community

UNF Esports is more than a competitive gaming program, it is a community that connects students across majors, backgrounds, and experiences. In just a few years, Esports has grown into one of the most popular student activities in the United States, offering opportunities for teamwork, leadership, and engagement in an environment that feels both welcoming and inspiring. By supporting UNF Esports, donors help us create spaces where students can belong, grow, and develop skills that extend far beyond the screen.

Innovation

The Flight Deck Esports Arena, currently under construction, will serve as a hub for competition, collaboration, and innovation. This state-of-the-art facility will provide students with the technology and resources they need to train, compete, and showcase their talents while also hosting events that bring the Jacksonville community together. From varsity-level competition to student-led tournaments and community outreach, the arena will elevate UNF’s presence in the rapidly growing world of Esports.

"MORE THAN JUST A GAME"

Kaitlyn Vontur

"Ive been with the UNF team for a year and a half, playing League of Legends support and ADC,while also coaching support. Its been awesome to see how much everyone grows together. Its definitely more than just a game for me. The friends I've made extend beyondthe game. I've never had a group of friends so loving and laid-back that I could really unwind with, while, at the same time, pushing me to grow and improve myself."
-Kaitlyn Vontur

Mark Bunag

"Being a student and esports player has benefited my college career by influencing how I manage my time and communicate effectively with my fellow teammates. To me, esports is something that allowed someone like me, an introverted individual and a competitive player in the video game scene, to open up and continue to grow the skills I had previously cultivated on my own."
-Mark Bunag

Miles Wolfe

"UNF Esports was immediately a source of healthy social interaction in a relaxing environment for me when I came to UNF. The friends I've made and the competition I've shared with them have made UNF feel like home."
-Miles Wolfe

Michael D'Angelo

"Esports has allowed me to expand my horizons and interestswhile also providing a welcoming environmentto make friends. It has encouraged me to step into leadership roles in and out of the collegiate atmosphere and to prove to myself that I can accomplish things I never possible. The club has promoted my growth not only as a player but as a person, which extendsfar beyond the screen, and for that, I will be forever grateful."
-Michael D'Angelo

Jonah Couch

"Esports has been helpful to my college career by allowing me to network and meet with fellow students from all over the country. To me, esports is something I have been incredibly passionate about since I was in middle school, so to see UNF gaining an official esports program while I am currently a student there is a dream come true."
