Electronic Data Processing Equipment (EDP)

Property insurance coverage, above and beyond that which is provided by the State Self Insurance Program, is now available for 'special equipment' owned by the University. Items eligible for coverage are insured for their actual cash value. This policy is available only to the University and provides coverage for theft. Theft is one of the causes of loss that is not covered under the State's Self Insurance Program.

Insurable items include, but are not limited to:

• Computer Equipment: Servers, printers, etc.
• Communications Equipment: Projectors, cameras, radios, etc.
• Miscellaneous Property: Musical instruments, theater props, golf carts, etc.

Deductible:

In the event of a loss, the following deductible apply:

A $100.00 deductible is applied to claims less than $2,500
A $500.00 deductible is applied to claims for greater than $2,500
A $1,000 deductible if loss is during transit
