Inspire CIO Scholarship

The School of Computing at the University of North Florida is excited to announce the Inspire CIO Scholarship. This scholarship will encourage and support talented students to pursue their professional goals. We are grateful for the support of Inspire CIO of North Florida in making this scholarship possible.

NorthFloridaCIO is one of more than 30 chapters in the Inspire CIO Leadership Network.  The North Florida chapter is led by an advisory board of CIOs from prominent organizations in North Florida who set the direction for events, membership, and annual Awards programs.

Criteria

Successful applicants must:

• meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida,
• enrolled full-time with at least 12 semester hours in the Fall and Spring semesters,
• declared a major in Computing and,
• maintain a minimum UNF GPA of 3.0

Responsibilities

Inspire CIO Scholars must:

• comply with all University regulations, rules, codes of conduct governing students on campus,
• maintain a GPA OF AT LEAST 3.0,
• consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the donor, and
• remain in good standing as a student.

Additional Information

The scholarship funds will be administered by the University of North Florida Foundation per University regulations and Foundation policies. Additional gifts may be made subject to regulations and policies in existence at the time of the contribution.

The amount of the award cannot exceed the maximum cost of tuition, fees, books, campus housing, meal plan, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses, as reflected in the annual “Cost of Education” budget prepared by the Financial Aid Office.
