FaverGray Construction Scholarship

The University of North Florida's School of Computing is proud to offer this FaverGray Construction Scholarship.

FaverGray specializes in building custom and speculative homes with unique features built around your lifestyle. They build homes in Amelia Island, Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra, and St. Augustine. FaverGray focuses on creating exceptional multifamily and student housing communities.

Criteria

Successful applicants must:

  • meet admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • enrolled full-time with at least 24 hours in the academic year
  • be a declared major in Construction Management
  • be a junior or senior at the time of the award
  • preference will be given to current FaverGray employees or interns.

Responsibilities

Scholarship recipients must:

  • meet with FaverGray representatives at some point during the term as a FaverGray Scholar
  • maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
  • comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the donor, and
  • remain in good standing as a student

Renewal

Current recipients are not eligible for renewal by default; however, the scholarship may be renewed at the sole discretion of the Donor upon making an explicit exception. 

The fund manager will determine the award amount, however, the award cannot exceed the maximum cost of tuition, books, campus housing, meal plan, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses, as reflected in the annual "Cost of Education" budget prepared by the UNF Financial Aid Office.
