The University of North Florida's College of Computing, Engineering, and Construction proudly offers the England-Thims & Miller Scholarship (hereafter called the ETM) Scholarship.

Criteria

Successful applicants must:

  • meet all admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours in the Fall and Spring semesters, unless in the final semester of their coursework.
  • be a junior or a senior
  • declare a major in Civil Engineering
  • maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of the College of Computing, Engineering, and Construction

Responsibilities

Scholarship recipients must:

  • comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor
  • remain in good standing as a student

Renewal

Scholarship recipients are eligible for renewal and will be given preference pending availability of funding, and if all of the preceding requirements have been met. No student will be eligible to receive more than four semesters of scholarship support. The amount of the award cannot exceed the maximum cost of tuition, fees, books, campus housing, meal plan, transportation and miscellaneous expenses, as reflected in the annual “Cost of Education” budget prepared by the Financial Aid Office.

The scholarship funds are managed by the University of North Florida Foundation, following University regulations and Foundation policies. Contributions can be made in accordance with the regulations and policies effective at the time of the contribution.
