UNF Botanical Garden
Mission Statement
The UNF Botanical Garden fosters a reciprocal relationship between human well-being and environmental health: Advancing biodiversity, sustainability, and stewardship through living garden displays, education, research, and community engagement across the University’s natural landscapes.
Our vision is a campus where people and nature thrive together—where native and ornamental horticulture are preserved and celebrated, and every engagement fosters mutual well-being, ecological awareness, and lifelong learning.
UNF Botanical Garden was up for the 2026 Best of Florida Award 
The UNF Botanical Garden was nominated for the Guide to Florida's 2026 Best of Florida awards in the Botanical Gardens category. Voting is closed, and results will be out on August 27, 2026. This was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the Botanical Garden, and we thank you for all your votes and love!
